《A fun trip》教案_教师资格面试高中英语

Teaching aims:

Students are able to understand the content of the passage.

Students can know some rules of liaison by reading sentences.

Students can use liaison rules to speak English in their daily life.

Students will be more interested in English speaking by activities.

Key and difficult points:

Key point: comprehend some rules of liaison.

Difficult point: use these rules to speak English and communicate with others in their daily life.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1: Warming-up

1. Greetings.

2. Share holiday experience with each other. Then lead in today’s topic.

Step 2: Presentation

1. Read the passage for students and let them figure out the main idea.

2. List the phrases on the blackboard and read twice. Ask students to find the similar part of the linking phenomenon.

3. Make a conclusion of liaison rule. For the phrases in a sense group, the final consonant and initial vowel can be linked to produce the sound more fluently

Step 3: Practice

1. List some sentences and invite students to underline the linking part. Encourage students to share answers by reading the sentence loudly.

2. Find out more word phrases with liaison rules.

Step 4: Production

Give 5 minutes to have students firstly read the lyrics of Let It Go with the liaison rules, then the teacher will invite some students to sing and perform it on the stage and will give some positive feedback.

Step 5: Summary and Homework

Summary: ask a student to summarize the knowledge that we have learned.

Homework: ask students to learn a tongue twister with the liaison rules. And invite some of them to share in the next class.
