Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Lead-in (3 mins)
Greet students and have a free talk with students, ask them what did they do yesterday, students will give their answers, and then share your activity that you did yesterday, for example, “ I saw a film yesterday, it is the most boring film I have seen before.” write down the two sentences on the blackboard, and ask students the difference between the two sentences, in this way can lead in the present perfect tense.
(Justification: students have learned the simple past tense, and the two tenses have some similarities, review the simple past tense can help students better understand the present perfect tense.)
Step 2 Presentation (5 mins)
Write down more sentences about the simple past tense and the present perfect tense, and guide students find out the similarity and the difference about these sentences, and then conclude the meaning and the structure of the present perfect tense.
