不善于分析句子结构。对非谓语动词的一些特殊句式把握不准确

【易错题1】You can’t imagine what difficulty we had ____ home in the snowstorm.

解析：考生容易误选A项，认为是过去完成时had walked。句中的we had是修饰difficulty的定语从句引导词that省略了;have difficulty(in)doing sth。表示“做某事有困难”。句子意思是：你无法想象我们在暴风雪中走回家有多么困难。该句中的介词in省略了。

【错因透视】分析句子的结构非常重要，记住have difficulty(in)doing：have作“有”解时，后接情感名词(in可省略)，再接动名词。这类词还有 difficulty，trouble，problem，fun，a hard time，a good time等。
